Turn your old tins into eco-art with Ronseal!
Ronseal is appealing to the UK’s eco-friendly DIY enthusiasts to dig around in their garages and garden sheds to contribute towards one of the most unique sculptures ever created.
Anyone wanting their used Ronseal woodcare tins to be re-cycled in a truly ingenious way can donate them to us - then award-winning artist Ptolemy Elrington will transform them into a giant ‘Tree of Life’ masterpiece.
This magnificent creation will then be displayed at one of The Woodland Trust - the UK’s leading woodland conservation charity - sites in rural Britain where it will be available for all to see before being recycled to complete its journey in life.
Over 50 million litres of decorative woodcare coatings were sold in 2007 meaning there are plenty of Ronseal tins in the nation’s garages, sheds and cupboards that can be recycled.
You can offer your tins for donation from 24th March with Ptolemy due to unveil his work of art on 19th May.
The Woodland Trust is a charity registered in England no. 294344 and in Scotland no. SC038885.
The Woodland Trust is the UK's leading woodland conservation charity. From 1 March 2008 Ronseal will plant a native tree in a UK wood for everyone who registers their purchase of a Ronseal Eco product here online. Please note terms and conditions apply.
