Ronseal Woodworm Killer

Our Woodworm Killer gets rid of woodboring beetles, their larvae and eggs. It soaks deep into the wood so you won’t ever have to worry about seeing them again.
It’s clear too, so once the job is all done you can paint over and forget there was ever a problem.

Before You Start

Make sure the wood is dry, clean and free from dust. To get the best results, use on previously untreated wood and remove any coatings such as paint, varnish and woodstains.

Using Multi-Purpose Wood Treatment

Give the tin a shake and pour into a suitable container, then, using a brush, cover all faces, ends and joints. Pay particular attention to the end grain, corners and any crevices.
You’ll need to wait until the wood has fully dried before carrying out any repairs.
Once fully dried, you can carry out any repair work needed. You can also finish the wood with a woodstain, varnish or paint.

Clean Up

Take as much product off your brush as you can then clean with warm, soapy water. Don’t empty into drains or watercourses. Your local authority may have special ways to get rid of unused paints.
