        Perfect Finish Interior Varnish
        120 grit sandpaper
        white spirit

We know that when you have DIY tasks like varnishing furniture or doors to do, you’d probably prefer to be doing something else. So Perfect Finish Interior Varnish is just what you need to get the job done quickly. It comes with our Perfect Finish Varnish Pad, which gives you a better finish than using a brush. You can re-coat over the varnish in just 1 hour, so it can be done and dusted in no time.

        Step 1
Sand the wood down with 120 grit sandpaper. This will get rid of any old product or paint that may be on your furniture. It also helps the varnish stick to the wood better and last longer. You’ll then need to wipe it down with white spirit to get rid of any dirt. Allow it to dry thoroughly.
        Step 1

        Step 2
Gently lower the pad into the tub, you don’t need to soak it to get enough on. Scrape off any excess on the edge of the tub. Cover large areas quickly in long smooth strokes with the base of the pad by pulling the pad towards you - use the front edge to get into any trickier areas or remove the pad from the handle for really fiddly bits.
        Step 2

        Step 3
You need to apply 3 coats if you had bare wood to protect it properly. As it only takes 1 hour to fully dry, you can get the extra 2 coats on in no time at all. Before the final one, give it a light sand again with 120 grit sandpaper. We know it’s a pain, but it’ll be worth it when you see the final result.
