How to Choose the Right Filler for the Job
When preparing to decorate, filling holes and cracks in your wall can be a tedious but necessary job.
Our range of smooth finish fillers are easy to use and provide a perfect smooth finish to get the job done quickly.
For small, general repairs use our Smooth Finish Multipurpose Filler. First make sure the surface is clean, dry and free from dust.
Pick out the area around the hole with the side of a filling knife. Then, pack the filler well into the damaged area, and make sure the filler is left sticking out of the surface. Smooth over with a wet Ronseal applicator, or a pallet knife.
For larger gaps, or for areas that need to be screwed in to, use our Smooth Finish Big Hole Filler. It's designed to fill holes up to 50mm deep in 1 application.
Apply the filler using the same technique as before and allow to dry. It's now tough and strong enough to be drilled and screwed.
For more difficult repairs, use our Smooth Finish 5 Minute Filler. It's easy to work with and dries 4 times quicker than traditional fillers. Also, because it's so light, it can easily be applied to a ceiling without the filler falling out or sagging.
Ronseal. Does exactly what it says on the tin.
Our Big Hole Smooth Finish can be used to fill 5cm holes in one go. It dries in 2 hours and can be drilled or screwed into.
Our 5 Minute Multi-Purpose Smooth Finish Filler is a lightweight filler that won't sag. Ideal for ceilings and large repairs.
Use our Multi-Purpose Filler indoor on plaster, stone, concrete and wood.
