not like any antique pine i own! by Colour is very Different Tin
I was very pleased with the very quick drying time of this product and I have confidence that it will work well. However, the colour is absolutely nothing like the colour on the tin - it is so very much darker and rather murky. I used to expect that years ago but, with the latest technology, i really expected the colour to be much closer to the reality.

Ronseal Quick Drying Woodstain
Woodstains protect and colour your wood without hiding the grain. With this woodstain you can get the job done quickly. It colours and protects your wood, and it's rainproof in 30 minutes.
Before You Start
Make sure it's a warm, dry day (above 10°c) and the wood is clean and dry.
Prep - Stained or varnished wood
Give the wood a good sand to make sure the wood stain sticks. Then give it a clean with white spirit and leave to dry.
Prep - New Wood
Give the wood a light sand, clean any dirt or dust with white spirit and leave to dry.
Wear a face mask to avoid breathing in any dust.
If you're treating veneer, follow the suppliers guidelines.
Check you're happy with the colour of the stain by testing it on a small, hidden patch of wood.
Using Quick Drying Woodstain
First give the tin a stir, then brush on in the direction of the grain.
You'll need to put on 3 coats leaving 4 hours between coats. Before the final coat lightly sand the wood, this will help the stain stick and give a smoother finish.
If you get any stain on yourself, wash it off with warm, soapy water.
Usage Areas: All outdoor wood. Do not use on decking.
Compatibility: Suitable for use on bare or previously stained wood.
Clean Up: Clean brushes in warm soapy water.
